About The Position
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY The Volunteer and Special Projects Coordinator and two principle functions: (1) To recruit, train, place and supervise high school and college student volunteers into recreational therapy programs, and (2) Assist the Director with Special Projects the department takes on in the form of short term mini-grants, gifts and donations, as well as direct assignments for community partner service projects and fund-raising events as assigned by the MMI Directors office. Special projects awards and directives have significantly grown to the point that coordination of staffing, management of resources, and development and execution of work plans has become a significant work load for department personnel.
Requirements
- 2 years experience
