Introduction: Looking for a part - time position working with kids and sports? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a high potential individual to aid in the implementation of our youth sports programs. About the Brand: i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps and clinics for boys and girls ages 3 - 17 in today's most popular sports such as flag foot ball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and baseball. About the Job: Under the direction of the Site Manager , the Volleyball Instructor is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players, coaches and parents . The Volleyball Instructor will lead practice and games providing expert instruction in our 7 to 13 year old age range. The i9 Sports Volleyball Instructor is a responsible, well organized, motivated individual who will drive the development of each athlete they coach by providing age-appropriate instruction, teaching good sportsmanship, and creating a fun atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be customer-centric and provide leadership that results in raving customer experiences. The position entails hands on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels. Coaching experience is a plus. All candidates must possess strong communication skills. We are a customer service-oriented company so those who have had experience working with customers have a leg up on the competition. This is a part-time position that requires weekend work. All applicants are subject to a National Criminal Background check and will be required to become first aid certified.

Requirements

• Sport specific expertise in Volleyball
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to efficiently solve problems
• Highly motivated self - starter
• Ability to motivate and manage oth ers (i.e. volunteers and players)
• Extremely reliable and responsible
• Ability to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sunday afternoons
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• All applicants are subject to a National Criminal Background check and will be required to become first aid certified.
