About The Position

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a Volleyball Instructor to join our team. This role is centered around connecting with people and sharing a passion for volleyball while positively impacting the community through athletics. The instructor will help children reach their potential, set age-appropriate goals, and contribute to changing lives within the YMCA community.

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of volleyball and instruction.
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct YMCA program instruction in accordance with YMCA program standards.
• Incorporate character development objectives into the program to reinforce the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs and enjoy their experience.
• Evaluate program skills, complete progress reports for each session, and communicate with parents.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants, ensuring accessibility and identification.
