About The Position
Hermiston School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Volleyball Coach at Hermiston High School. This position is an excellent opportunity for an exceptional coach who has demonstrated the abilities, skills, and knowledge to lead a quality volleyball program. This coaching position is for the 2026-2027 school year/season.
Requirements
- Successful head/assistant volleyball coaching experience
- Must possess a current working knowledge of the fundamentals and rules of volleyball
- Has a positive attitude and is an inspiring and enthusiastic leader
- Is a team player dedicated to excellence in all phases of the educational program
- Has the ability to plan effectively and is well organized
- Has the ability to communicate effectively
- Has a caring attitude and sensitivity toward people
- Has the time and willingness to work with youth and community programs
Nice To Haves
- Must demonstrate professional growth and development
- Must demonstrate an understanding of training related to the sport of volleyball
- Must have an understanding and ability to work with and develop a program from youth through high school
