About The Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice teacher to teach part-time at Lakewood Music Academy, located in Lakewood, OH. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about music education and enjoy working with students of various ages and skill levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing in-person voice lessons, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and tailoring lessons to meet the specific needs and preferences of each student. Teachers can set their availability within the school's open hours, but consistency is appreciated by both students and staff. Preference will be given to candidates who can offer greater availability. Candidates should possess a strong music background, evidenced by a degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. A demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, and a robust appreciation for punctuality are essential. Reliable transportation is required, and candidates must be able to pass a routine background check. The pay for this position is commensurate with experience, with an hourly rate of around $28. Additionally, Ensemble Music Schools offers a 401(K) program with employer matching available to all employees after 90 days on the job.
