  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Teams voice infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage VoIP systems, including auto attendants, call queues, and call routing.
  • Ensure high-quality voice transmission and troubleshoot issues.
  • Administer phone number porting, assignment, and policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Teams voice solutions with existing systems.
  • Monitor and optimize call quality using network management tools.
  • Be available 24/7 or on-call to address any critical issues that may arise.
  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 technical support for enterprise voice networks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including diagrams and user guides.
  • Plan and manage voice migration projects for enterprise systems.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in voice communication technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support and operations.
  • Excellent analysis/troubleshooting skills, able to solve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical associates.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Teams architecture, including Teams, Channels, Policies, and settings.
  • Familiarity with Teams Phone System, auto attendants, call queues, and call routing.
  • Knowledge of PSTN connectivity and session border controller (SBC) configuration.
  • Experience with VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and quality of service (QoS) management.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams admin center and PowerShell for Teams configuration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work 24/7 or on-call as needed.
  • Experience with Teams-compatible devices and SIP Gateway service.
  • Knowledge of network security for VoIP systems, including data encryption and access control.
  • Familiarity with call recording and monitoring tools.
