About The Position
The Career Technical Education Department of the Long Beach Community College District is seeking highly-qualified individuals to be our Vocational Technician- Automotive Technology! This incumbent will need to have knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used for servicing Gasoline, Compressed Natural Gas, Diesel engines with additional knowledge in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle operation, servicing, and maintenance. We are looking for someone who has obtained an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology or related field and has two years of journey-level auto mechanics experience.
