About The Position

Unitek Learning is seeking a Part-time Clinical Instructor for AM/PM Vocational Nursing. This role is crucial in helping students launch their nursing careers by providing quality instruction and support. The position offers flexible hours, with shifts available in the morning and evening, and the pay ranges from $47 to $51 per hour, depending on experience and education. Instructors will be responsible for teaching both lecture content and clinical rotations, maintaining student records, and participating in professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Current nursing license and teaching experience in a vocational nursing program.
  • Ability to utilize different teaching methodologies and technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain student records and program data.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with college updates.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in teaching both lecture and clinical rotations.
  • Familiarity with online teaching tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Improve quality of instruction by utilizing innovative teaching methodologies and techniques.
  • Demonstrate or acquire skills for using online activities to enhance course content during interactive teaching.
  • Assist in reviewing and revising the syllabus for specific courses within the program.
  • Submit required program reports and forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
  • Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining student files related to clinical requirements and immunizations.
  • Teach courses at various times and locations based on program needs.
  • Participate in professional development and maintain CE hours for renewed licensure.
  • Actively participate in assigned committees, considering teaching responsibilities as a priority.
