Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Participates in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care given.
• Performs admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Reviews and modifies the nursing plan of care under supervision.
• Observes and records signs, symptoms, and behaviors of patients.
• Notifies appropriate nursing and medical staff of changes in patient status.
• Follows physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Safely administers medications and treatments.
• Documents nursing care in all assigned patient records.
• Adheres to infection control and aseptic techniques.
