Efficiently and effectively performs the administrative functions of the position. Tracks and manages daily schedule changes including coverage for call offs. Ensures office and other supplies are available. Works directly with guests and merchants to quickly resolve gift card issues. Performs daily POS register functions, deposits cash receipts, and handles opening and closing procedures, assists staff as needed with training. Maintains all promotion redemptions and promotions logs. Tracks and manages daily schedule changes including coverage for call offs. Works with Marketing Manager to develop and implement the Outlet Center’s annual marketing plan. Works with Marketing Manager to conceptualize, develop, design and implement various promotions and events, and community-based programs for the Outlet Center. Prepare reports and recommendations for action. Performs a variety of clerical duties, such as maintaining files, email data base, contacts data base, copying and faxing documents, preparing check requests and may be asked to respond to situations and/or contact people at odd hours or on days off. Performs other duties and special projects as requested. Ensure all on-site and off-site events are organized. Coordinates all on-site events, including working directly with merchants for promotional goods. Build relationships with guests of the Hotel and Casino. Motivate hotel concierges, visitor center employees, tour bus operators, and other tourist related customer service personnel to refer clients to Viejas Outlets for shopping. Actively seeks out opportunities and utilizes strong sales tactics to promote Outlet Center’s programs to gain and add new shoppers into the outlets shopper database. Maintains knowledge of and ensures team members and shoppers are aware of current Frequent Shopper Promotions, sales and entertainment events and encourages shoppers to make repeat visits to the center.
