This position will function as a technology leader in the VMware engineering, delivery, and operations across the enterprise. You will design, implement, and support the underlying server compute hardware, software and configuration of the VMware hypervisor. VMware virtualization, VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Aria. The position will provide engineering, delivery and operational needs for the underlying hyperconverged infrastructure. You will partner across application, enterprise architecture, infrastructure and security teams in the planning and delivery of all compute configurations and advancements to support increased infrastructure hyper-convergence, virtualization, and automation. You are an expert from a functional perspective with hands-on experience and a non-biased view of technology choices. You will be involved at the inception of a project, responsible for design creation and lifecycle management of server compute solutions. Additionally, you will support Managed Service Provider, Vendor/Manufacturer and Professional Services engagements and escalations.
