About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VMware/Broadcom Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of VMware products and solutions, with a strong focus on VMware vSphere, virtual machines, networking, and storage. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work in a secure environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, 7 years of relevant experience with VMware Certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of VMware products, particularly VMware vSphere solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
• Security+
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Windows OS Certificate
• TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability of VMware infrastructure through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware products and solutions in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect VMware environments, ensuring compliance with TS/SCI clearance requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VMware configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate VMware solutions with broader IT infrastructure and applications.
• Provide guidance and support to junior administrators and end-users on VMware-related issues.
• Contribute to projects involving VMware infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
