As a VizRT Designer at Univision, you will be responsible for creating template-driven motion designs for our News division shows. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and creative problem-solving skills, particularly with Viz Artist, to meet the diverse needs of multiple news shows, both live and pre-taped. You will be expected to thrive in a high-pressure environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and deliver innovative solutions that adhere to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries. Your work will reflect a strong command of typographic design and attention to detail, ensuring that the visual output is contemporary and engaging. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director, Lead Vizrt Designer, and other team members to service various news shows. You will take the initiative on projects, manage templates and workflows, and maintain styles that align with Univision News' visual brand sensibilities. Your role will also involve responding to the dynamic needs of the graphics development team, adapting your skills across different programs and platforms as required. The immediacy of the News work environment necessitates a full understanding of the fast-paced nature of live news production. You will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues from various departments, including producers and engineering staff, to ensure that all designs are executed efficiently and creatively. Your ability to work collaboratively and independently will be crucial in meeting the demands of this role.
