About The Position

The Vitamin Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of the Vitamin Department. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department.
  • Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
  • Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to move a ladder and utility cart as required for product access.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack and maneuver carts as needed.
  • Ability to walk a total of up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
  • Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail management or team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent customer service by providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable information about supplements and related products.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty items in the department.
  • Order products and manage inventory control effectively.
  • Oversee sales and promotional events to drive department performance.
  • Work with the Buyer and Store Manager to determine inventory based on sales reports and market trends.
  • Engage and evaluate team members through coaching and performance reviews.
  • Regularly attend and participate in in-store meetings.
  • Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Address Team Member concerns with independent judgment.
  • Document corrective actions and collaborate with HR on performance management.
  • Create and adjust schedules to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate standards, expectations, and product knowledge to team members.
  • Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
