Under the direction of the VITA Community Coordinator, the VITA Client Appointment Scheduler will be responsible for responding to all calls or voice mails left in attempt to schedule tax appointments. Calls should be returned in a timely fashion and every effort should be made to respond to and fulfill all requests for appointments. This is a temporary, part-time position with flexible hours and determined by the VITA Community Coordinator. This position will end around April 1st of each tax year, depending on need. The position is a temporary position which could last up to 11 weeks and as a part time temporary position, depending upon hours work will typically not receive benefits (paid time off, holiday pay, etc.)
