We're looking for a customer-obsessed Visual UX Designer to join the Prime Video
product creative direction team. You'll concept and craft compelling visual
design across the full breadth of Prime Video — streaming video on demand,
sports, news, kids, gaming, short-form, and industry-defining AI-forward
experiences. Partnering with interaction designers, researchers, engineers, and
PMs throughout the full design and development lifecycle. As a tastemaker and
storyteller, you'll champion design excellence, contribute to product vision,
and push the visual bar.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for elegant, modern UI and thinks
holistically about the "why" behind everything we ship. You understand visual
systems deeply (layout, typography, interface design) and move fluidly between
abstract conceptual thinking and precise, hands-on execution with engineering
teams. You present with conviction, drive innovative solutions, and shape the
visual experience for millions of Prime Video customers worldwide. To learn more

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in visual design demonstrated through design concepts, case studies, documentation, mockups and style guides
• 2+ years of experience as a visual UI designer, interaction designer, or similar role
• Proven experience building and working within design systems at scale
• Hands-on fluency with AI design and IDE tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
• Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
• Experience creating inspiring Northstar design concepts that inform the future vision for a digital product
• Experience designing for multiple platforms such as mobile, multimodal, TV, web, VUI and virtual reality
• Ability to navigate ambiguity to drive the design cycle and multitask in an fast-paced environment
