Requirements

2+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably with a leading retailer or global brand.
Creative, detail-oriented problem solver who has demonstrated success in visual merchandising.
Able to act and work with a sense of urgency while staying organized.
Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong visual and oral presentation skills for VP+ meetings.
Able to develop innovative approaches to visual merchandising strategy with limited direction.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or visualization software are a must.
Strong aesthetic and design skills
Ability to merchandise product weighing up to 25 lbs. and ability to place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet.
Ability to remain on feet for sustained periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Auto Cad preferred.

Responsibilities

Design Activities Construct, present, and maintain all visual set-ups throughout WowTown.
Utilize planogram software (Visual Retailing – MockShop) to create and retain digital assets for sets, including all product images and CADs.
Build informed planograms and elevations for all sections and provide to store crew for execution.
Alignment Activities Meet and collaborate regularly with lead buyers and planners to identify trends, visual needs, and floor set information.
Coordinate prototype set-ups and special projects under the direction of Visual manager to present to CMO, SVP, VP levels.
Utilize presentations for buyer alignment.
Gather data and provide allocation team presentation capacity fills by sku for each set.
Confirm final approvals for all floor sets with DMMs, planning mangers, and allocation managers to ensure internal consensus of store presentation.
Visual Strategy, Direction, and Vision Develop visual strategy and innovative approaches of world product presentations to Buyers and DMMs (VP) for advance (growth), maintain, and decline (reduction).
Design the presentation of props, displays, and merchandising to advise direction to Visual leaders and merchandising team.
Analyze reports and provide detailed hindsight for strategy, process, partnership, and store execution of all Visual Merchandising initiatives.
Present hindsight to cross-functional partners (GMM, DMMs, Buyers, MP&A, Visual Team, C-Suite) at style outs.
Review productivity and make recommendations with Visual manager and director to inform future Visual strategy.
People Development & Collaboration Build productive and collaborative relationships with partners across the organization.
Partner with the Visual Manager on personal development and goal setting.
Support Tasks Lead all aspects of the implementation of floor sets and visual changes in merchandise refresh projects within Visual.
Lend support to peers in other world refreshes.
Organize, write, and coordinate the production of merchandising set directives.
Complete elevations for expediated tests and specials projects.
Manage Mock Store / Set Store schedule.
