Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current trends.
• 2 years of visual merchandising experience (preferably a department store environment).
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, highly organized with an attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand floor plans and planograms.
• Comfortable operating a computer, open to learning new programs and systems.
• Ability to work as part of a team, or independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper visual merchandising of the entire selling floor.
• Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with all coworkers and customers to provide the best customer experience.
• Partner with Store and Department managers to execute seasonal Prototype presentations.
• Execute departmental and storewide visual merchandising programs and departmental floor moves that will help engage the customer.
• Update and maintain mannequins/forms/presentations as dictated by new receipts or trends and targeted demographics.
• Educate departments on Back to Basics standards, floor sets, merchandising and wallscaping.
• Execute cosmetics and promotional calendars.
• Execute window presentations (where applicable).
• Grid fixtures/adjust accent lighting.
• Order visual properties following Corporate guidelines.
• Perform daily morning floor walk of entire store to determine tasks to be accomplished, i.e. presentations are properly maintained.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the stock/work area.
• Attend meetings and training sessions with Corporate Visual.
• Email communication and basic paperwork.
