About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Visual Merchandising Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and project management of in-store merchandising including gondola, endcap, tower and front-of-store tables with the goal to convert shoppers into buyers, drive brand recognition, optimize B&M sales, and maximize profitability. As a member of the Sales team, you will collaborate with Sales, Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Retailers, and Vendors and report directly to Director of Global Sales, ONE/SIZE. HYBRID: This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement and is open to candidates based in Los Angeles. While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work at Culver City, CA 90230. The role requires working in PST hours, so candidates located on the West Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.

Requirements

  • BS degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager preferred.
  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including gondola, window, secondary displays, and space utilization.
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, twist, and squat to adjust or position equipment, cameras, or set up for events.
  • Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to focus on detailed work for extended periods, which may lead to eye strain or fatigue.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, including typing and using a mouse.
  • Must be able to carry and transport promotional or sales materials.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall brand timelines and proactively plan for deliverables working cross-functionally with sales, creative, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with Creative team on design concepts, die line adjustments, and artwork delivery.
  • Initiate kick off with vendor including internal and retailer alignment on planogram and assortment.
  • Manage the workflow from kick off through key milestone dates (die lines, copy, artwork, prototype, shipping, install) to ensure all dates are met.
  • Work with product development to acquire product comps for prototyping.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on timing of assets needed and artwork implications tied to visual merchandising.
  • Manage all assortment files and delivery to retailers on time.
  • Liaise with suppliers and source elements.
  • Provide guidance and input on engineering, planograms, and space planning.
  • Route internal and external approvals on artwork, copy and material.
  • Monitor costs and work within budget to maximize profitability.
  • Proactively plan 1-2 years of updates out to efficiently map space changes and reduce expense while ensuring a cohesive in-store shopping experience.
  • Regular attendance and additional responsibilities as needed. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.
