About The Position

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will translate seasonal directives and global trends into one-of-a-kind, inspiring fashion stories through the iconic Bergdorf Goodman lens. Under the guidance of the Visual Manager and in partnership with the Fashion Office, you will ensure our floors reflect the highest standards of luxury and style.

Requirements

4+ years of visual merchandising or styling experience (luxury retail fashion preferred), plus 2+ years of retail experience in visual display
An elevated taste level with a deep understanding of current fashion trends, cultural awareness, and a passion for luxury
Proficient in Google Workspace; experience with Vinyl Machines, Photoshop (PS), and Adobe Illustrator (AI) is a significant plus
Ability to multitask, manage a calendar, and pivot priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written professional communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external brand partners
An affinity for interior decor and an understanding of a "residential" luxury selling environment.
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift items (boxes, mannequins, etc.) weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain elevated fashion stories throughout the floor; partner with the Fashion Manager to execute mannequin styling and trend directives
Uphold BG visual standards across assigned floors and categories, including customer-facing areas like fitting rooms and cashwraps, to ensure a seamless luxury experience
Cross-merchandise multiple categories to support seasonal trends and brand narratives
Act as the point of contact for brand partners regarding visit requests; collaborate with brand visual teams to ensure all displays align with BG Visual Guidelines
Communicate effectively with selling and stock teams to maintain shared areas of responsibility
Daily maintenance of mannequins, merchandise racks, and light production support to keep the floor pristine
