About The Position

The Visual Merchandiser plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience within a fast-paced fashion retail environment. This position is responsible for creating visually appealing displays that inspire customers to explore their personal style while driving sales and adhering to H&M's brand standards. The role involves collaboration with the store team to implement visual identity, maintain high-quality garment presentation, and ensure compliance with commercial guidelines.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of transferrable experience in a similar role.
• Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and engage in repetitive motions.
• Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool.
• Experience with hand and power-operated tools (Iron, Steamer, etc.).
• Flexible work schedule availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set garment presentation on the Sales Floor & Windows according to the Commercial Handbook.
• Determine additional commercial opportunities in the store with the Department Manager.
• Execute floor moves based on joint decisions with the Department Manager.
• Stay updated with current fashion trends and share insights with the store team.
• Ensure customer expectations are met on direct service according to H&M standards.
• Implement the Commercial Handbook to maintain H&M Visual Identity.
• Create a clear visual narrative from windows to in-store displays.
• Launch and maintain all sales campaigns and activities on time.
• Follow up on Store KPIs and initiate actions to reach store goals and budgets.
• Complete sample picking and execute floor moves to create clear stories.
• Maintain the condition of all incoming visual props and marketing material.
• Support the Store team through coaching and development.
• Evaluate and develop the visual and commercial skills of the store team through training.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation in all communications on the sales floor.
• Work in accordance with health & safety and security routines.
