General Merchandise Retailers

Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. We bring that vision to life through our values and culture. Target Marketing is well known for inspiring and surprising guests, and we pride ourselves on connecting them to the products and experiences they expect and love from Target. We study our guests to discover new insights, and then craft every interaction to build brand equity and enterprise sales. Our commitment to partnering both internally and with external agencies gives us a wide range of capabilities, from award-winning creative work to best in class retail experiences. Within the Retail Brand Experience (RBX) team, there is an opportunity to design and deliver Target's in-store experience to position us as America's favorite discovery destination. As a RBX Manager, you will support guest-led, holistic in-store experience strategies, inclusive of in-store marketing and space presentation (product merchandising) to drive the business for all cycles. You will develop the floor pad architecture inclusive of fixture & mannequin placement (if relevant) and messaging strategy. You will write clear and actionable detailed deliverable briefs highlighting messaging hierarchy, photography needs and signage placement and kick off the detailed concept work with creative partners. You will be responsible for evaluating the concepts against the strategic objectives and preparing for leader alignment reviews which could include physical build out in our mock store or via digital presentations. You may also be asked to support division specific projects that occur off-cycle. You will partner cross-functionally with Merchants, Planning, Product Design, SPT, RBX Partners, Creative, GMS, Site Merch & Store Ops to execute holistic presentation concepts & omnichannel strategies for each transition based on the cycle brief. You will create & maintain strong working relationships with these stakeholders and will ensure RBX guidelines are consistently maintained, inclusive of Legal & Safety guidelines and Target Brand standards. You will manage your work within the defined budget and drive for process and cost efficiency.
