The Visual Media Producer/Editor plays a key role within Juilliard’s Communications and Marketing team, combining creative vision with strong project management skills to craft compelling visual stories. The successful candidate will be a skilled video editor and have a deep understanding of how both photography and video can elevate narrative and brand impact. This position combines production oversight and content creation, balancing office-based planning, scheduling, and routing of visual media with on-the-ground capture of photo and video assets across Juilliard’s vibrant campus and performance spaces. Reporting to the Senior Director, Content Strategy, the Visual Media Producer/Editor works closely with internal stakeholders, external creative partners, including a roster of freelance photographers and videographers, and members of the Content team to develop materials that promote Juilliard’s programs, people, and performances. The role requires a creative eye, logistical finesse, and a high level of responsiveness to the rhythms of the academic calendar and live performance season. This is a highly collaborative role suited for someone who thrives in both structured and spontaneous environments. The schedule is flexible and adjusts monthly based on seasonal needs, including evening and weekend coverage of select events. The annual salary is $70,000–$80,000, based on experience, skillset, and qualifications. Working at Juilliard Founded in 1905, The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education.
