About The Position

Inspect parts in the manufacturing process against drawing requirements and applicable inspection techniques to determine conformance utilizing applicable inspection tools.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Able to perform basic computer tasks and have basic typing skills
• Knowledge and understanding of hand inspection tools (preferred, not required)
• Experience with basic blueprint reading (preferred, not required)
• 1+ years of receiving, dimensional, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience
• Experience within the aerospace, automotive, or similar fields (preferred, not required)
• Position requires the use of information and access to hardware that is subject to the  International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). For this reason, you must be a U.S.  persons as defined by ITAR which is a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e.  Green Card Holder).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GD&T, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (preferred, not required)
• Knowledge and understanding of hand inspection tools (preferred, not required)
• Experience with basic blueprint reading (preferred, not required)
• Experience within the aerospace, automotive, or similar fields (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Examine surfaces in order to find defects and utilize metrology inspection equipment such as feeler gauges, micrometers, calipers and thickness gauges
• Review, approve or reject parts and document inspection results against part requirements using internal electronic MRP system to document results and route parts to proper departments
• Communicate with internal personnel to resolve inspection discrepancies
• Ensure inspection equipment is functional and calibrated
• Support manufacturing; Areas may include deburring/blending, receiving inspection, and more.
• Experience with GD&T, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (preferred, not required)
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Teams)
