As a Visual Display Associate at Von Maur, you will play a crucial role in representing the brand through the creation of fashionable and trend-forward displays throughout the store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the store maintains a cohesive appearance that enhances the shopping experience for customers. This position requires a keen eye for design and an understanding of visual merchandising principles to create visually exciting displays that attract and engage customers. You will be responsible for creatively arranging merchandise displays and incorporating floral accents to enhance the overall aesthetic of the store. In addition to display creation, you will also have the opportunity to train associates and new department managers on visual merchandising techniques and guidelines. This includes assisting with the setup of selling floor displays to ensure that all merchandise is presented in an appealing manner. Maintaining fixtures, displays, and display lighting is also a key part of your role, as it ensures that the visual elements of the store are always at their best. You will prepare, arrange, and preserve seasonal store visuals and displays, adapting to changing trends and customer preferences. A clean and visually exciting store environment is essential, and you will be expected to uphold these standards consistently.
