About The Position
The Exhibit Specialist (Visual Arts) provides specialized technical expertise in areas such as lighting, carpentry, exhibit design, or competitive entry computer software. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days. The role involves assisting in the planning, design, maintenance, and installation of specialized exhibit work, operating various tools and equipment, and providing leadership to department employees. The specialist will also support the department supervisor in purchasing supplies, track tools and equipment, and maintain records specific to job duties. Customer service is a key component, as the specialist will provide information to guests about exhibits and events.
