About The Position
The position involves developing and implementing the art curriculum in alignment with state and district guidelines. The role requires creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and fosters a love of art among students. The educator will evaluate student progress and provide feedback to support their development as artists, while also collaborating with other teachers and administrators to integrate art into other subject areas and support school-wide initiatives. Additionally, the educator will manage art supplies, participate in professional development activities, communicate with parents about student progress and art projects, and ensure a safe and organized art classroom environment.
