The New York State Education Department's (NYSED) Office of Cultural Education is seeking candidates for a Visitor Services Assistant 1 position in the New York State Museum (NYSM). The NYSM serves the lifelong educational needs of New Yorkers and visitors through its collections, exhibitions, scholarships, programs, and media and publications in science, history, anthropology, and art. The incumbent of this position will perform various duties such as welcoming and educating visitors and groups and interpreting exhibits within the NYSM.
