The Department of Mathematics at Ohio University invites applications for one-year teaching positions (from August 16, 2025, to May 15, 2026), with the rank of Visiting Professor. Depending on departmental requirements, funding availability, and the candidate's successful performance, there is a possibility of extending the position for up to two additional years. The expected teaching schedule is 4-5 classes per semester, not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester. Most classes will be in person. The department has a broad mission, from teaching general education classes through mentoring doctoral students and conducting research.
