About The Position

The VNA of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire provides 24/7 in-home support and services to patients in Manchester and the surrounding communities. We are committed to helping our patients navigate the challenges they face at home while recovering from surgery or coping with life-limiting illnesses or physical disabilities. The VNA care team provides individualized care across the continuum, bringing peace of mind to patients and their loved ones while providing professional healthcare services in the comfort of home. Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA's Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
  • Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
  • Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
  • Valid Driver's License required to travel throughout southern New Hampshire to provide home health care service and other job-related activities.
  • Proof of automobile insurance required.
  • Motor vehicle background report will be conducted.
