About The Position

Mercer University School of Law seeks a full-time visiting faculty to teach four courses during the 2026-27 academic year. The visiting professor will teach two legal writing courses (one per term) and two other courses as determined based on institutional needs and the visiting faculty's interests and expertise. This is one-year visiting appointment with the possibility of renewal. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate. Requirements

  • Applicants should have a J.D. degree from an accredited university/college and two or more years of relevant law school teaching experience.
  • Interested applicants will need to complete the brief online application and attach a current CV with the names and contact information for three references.
