Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor - Chemical and Biological Engineering
About The Position
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position. This is a one-year appointment for the 2023-2024 academic year. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Chemical Engineering, including the Unit Operations Lab and core courses. Opportunity also exists to continue research with existing research facilities. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire)
- The applicant must demonstrate a dedication to teaching excellence
Responsibilities
- Teaching the undergraduate Unit Operations laboratory
- Teaching core Chemical Engineering classes
- Teach 12 contact hours per semester
