About The Position

Villanova University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering ( CEE ) seeks applications for a full-time visiting teaching faculty position in Water Resources Engineering. This is a one-year appointment for the 2025-26 academic year. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire).
• The applicant must demonstrate a dedication to teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate fluid mechanics and hydrology and hydraulics courses in addition to other courses based on the candidate’s background.
• The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in the classroom with existing faculty in a co-teaching capacity.
• The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a full-time member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.
