The University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor to teach during the 2025-26 academic year. This faculty position will involve teaching on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus. The selected candidate will teach a 4-4 load that includes American National Government and upper-level courses in law and judicial politics, covering topics such as civil rights, liberties, and the intersection of law, justice, and society. The ability to teach courses in public administration or public policy would be helpful, but is not required. Teaching modalities include in-person and online courses, either asynchronously or in a hybrid format, so experience teaching online is beneficial.
