About The Position
The Department of History at St. Olaf College invites applications for a part-time (.83 FTE), one-year position in the history of the Middle East or Latin America at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin August 2025. Candidates with comparative approaches to indigenous history, race and ethnicity, empire, postcolonialism, and environmental topics are especially encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will teach five undergraduate courses. Teaching responsibility includes introductory surveys and mid-level courses.
