About The Position
Ferrum College is seeking applications for a faculty position in Business at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal. Successful applicants will be dynamic, student-focused teachers whose area of expertise includes: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Principles of finance, and Quantitative methods for business. Preference will be given to individuals who demonstrate an ability to interact with diverse audiences and who are able to incorporate innovative, inclusive pedagogies and technology into their teaching. Given the breadth of emphasis in the Business Administration Program, the preferred candidate should be effective in teaching across multiple sub-disciplines. Beginning August, 2025 the successful candidate will teach a full course load (12 credit hours) of undergraduate courses in business.
