The Department of Decision Sciences and Economics at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) invites applications for a full-time 9-month, non-tenure track, Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Economics beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the strategic launch of a new interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence curriculum, integrating predictive machine learning and Generative AI systems with econometrics and data analytics. This position will be located at the Corpus Christi campus. The role requires a doctoral degree in Economics, Data Analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent) institution, and a commitment to teaching and research excellence. In addition to teaching core courses in Economics, the candidate will be instrumental in teaching and shaping new curriculum, including courses covering Applied Machine Learning for Business, AI Strategy, and Generative AI prototyping. Primary teaching responsibilities are at the undergraduate and graduate levels and may require a combination of in-person, online, and HyFlex courses.
