Beginning in the Spring 2026 semester, this is an appointment through the 2026-27 academic year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and program needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in accounting and related business areas (24 credit hours per year). Courses may include, but are not limited to, Principles of Accounting, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Taxation. Use engaging, innovative, and experiential teaching methods aligned with the mission and learning objectives of the School of Business. Advise and mentor students regarding academic progress, professional preparation, and career development. Support curriculum development, including the integration of current industry standards (e.g., CPA Evolution model, data analytics) and technology into the accounting program. Participate in department, school, and university service, including committee work and contributions to assessment and accreditation activities. Maintain professional engagement with the accounting community through continuing education, professional associations, or applied research. May supervise student workers and/or student research conducted in the department. Performs other essential duties as assigned.
