About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor - Law position to teach Criminal Procedure and Evidence. The position is available beginning August 2026 and is intended to go through May 2028. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and through electronic means of communication
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data in decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of students
  • Demonstrated ability to advise students
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and collaborate with colleagues
