About The Position

The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, Visiting Assistant Professor faculty position in Exercise or Sport Science (including, but not limited to: Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Sport Science, Kinesiology). This role has a 80% teaching responsibility (focused 4/4 course load), and 20% University service expectation. Specific undergraduate courses would include in-person exercise physiology (as well as an exercise physiology recitation course and assist in the oversight of graduate student lab instructors). In addition, courses related to human performance and fitness, physical activity for special populations, biomechanics, and motor learning/development may be included. Service expectations would include support for forthcoming CASCE accreditation through NSCA or ACSM accreditation. This workload offers the opportunity to significantly impact our students' educational experiences across a range of kinesiology content programs. This position is location-specific to the Boise State University campus, in Boise, Idaho. The start date for this position is August, 2025.
