About The Position

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach multiple sections of ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking. Appointment begins Spring Semester 2026. ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors. The FYIC is a four-course block that teaches students critical skills such as critical, creative, computational, and ethical thinking as well as coding, communication, and collaboration. As a FYIC teacher, you will be a part of a faculty who work together as a team to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101: Foundations of Business; BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication; ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking; and BUS 104: Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business).

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in business, creative studies, or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor.
  • Master’s degree in business, creative studies, or closely related fields by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.
  • Teaching or work experience related to entrepreneurship is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach multiple sections of ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking.
  • Integrate key skills across all four FYIC classes.
  • Collaborate with faculty members in the First-Year Integrated Core program.
