About The Position

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Toledo invites applications for an initial one semester visiting assistant professor position which will start in August 2026 and may be renewed for up to three (3) full academic years. The Visiting Assistant Professor who will be primarily responsible for teaching foundational courses in the undergraduate curriculum at the 1000- and 2000-levels in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The position focuses on providing high-quality instruction in lecture and laboratory settings, contributing to the department's mission of academic excellence and student success. Applicants from all areas of chemistry will be considered. The successful candidates will be expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and student success at the undergraduate level. Opportunities for research collaboration with the current faculty are also possible for further professional development.   • substantial teaching experience
