The position involves working directly under the Coordinator/Visitation Coach, with oversight from the Manager of Care Coordination & Contract Management. The primary responsibilities include observing and describing interactions between family members in a non-judgmental manner, assisting families in feeling comfortable and welcome, and taking on the roles of educator, model, and observer during visits. The ability to complete concise written reports free from personal bias is essential. Additionally, the role requires traveling to various locations to visit families and maintain appointments, necessitating a valid driver's license. Attendance and completion of the Visiting Coaching Model training is also required.
