This position drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. The role involves modeling, enforcing, and providing direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to ensure Customer/Member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards. It oversees and participates in community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good members of the community. The manager ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center, including asset protection and safety controls, operational and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans for improvement. The role also involves providing supervision and development opportunities for Associates, ensuring quality eyewear provision, and upholding the Company's Open Door Policy. The position coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, and promoting continuous learning.
