The Vision Center Manager drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, proper signing, and optimal inventory levels, while also budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. This role involves modeling, enforcing, and guiding Associates on excellent Customer/Member service to resolve issues within Company guidelines. The manager oversees and participates in community outreach programs and ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center. This includes analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, conducting reviews, developing action plans, and directing Associates in maintaining confidentiality. A key aspect is providing supervision and development opportunities for Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset. The manager ensures quality eyewear by consulting with customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining Optical equipment. The role also upholds the Company's Open Door Policy, coordinates job-related activities, builds stakeholder relationships, supports business initiatives, sets goals, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes continuous learning.
