About The Position

The position involves driving sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining stock and inventory levels. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting sales, assessing economic trends, and community needs. The role also models, enforces, and provides direction to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs and complaints are resolved within company guidelines. Additionally, the position oversees community outreach programs and encourages Associates to engage with the community. Compliance with company and legal policies is essential, which includes analyzing reports, implementing safety controls, and ensuring confidentiality of information. The role provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates, ensuring quality eyewear provision and maintaining optical equipment. Requirements

  • Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.
