About The Position
Codent AI is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Virtual Treatment Coordinator to support dental practices through a combination of human expertise, AI-driven technology, and in-depth dental insurance knowledge. This role partners closely with dental offices nationwide to improve case acceptance, streamline treatment planning, and optimize insurance benefit utilization in a modern, fully remote environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar dental administrative role
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and common insurance plans (PPO, HMO, indemnity)
- Proven experience with insurance verification and financial presentation
- Comfortable working with AI technology and cloud-based dental platforms
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple dental offices remotely
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AI-driven dental software or teledentistry platforms
- Familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar PMS systems
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus not required
- Experience working with multiple dental offices or DSOs
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with dental offices using Codent AI’s intelligent platforms to review and coordinate treatment plans
- Leverage AI-assisted dental intelligence to support accurate treatment recommendations and workflow efficiency
- Verify and interpret dental insurance benefits, coverage limitations, and patient financial responsibility
- Present treatment plans clearly and compassionately to patients via phone, video, or secure digital platforms
- Support increased case acceptance through education, financial presentation, and trust-based communication
- Document treatment coordination activities accurately within Codent AI systems and dental PMS platforms
- Act as a liaison between dental providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure clarity and compliance
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security at all times
