About The Position

HIRING VIRTUAL AND/OR HYBRID SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST! We are seeking a virtual/hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist for School-Based Assignments in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA to join our team in assessing, treating, and managing speech-language caseloads of all grade levels. Roles Inclusive school site, collaborative SpEd team & staff, average to below-average caseload size – it’s a perfect position! Roles can be made available as full-time or part-time positions, and can be performed entirely remotely. Potential for additional compensation for staff able to perform screeners and administer student Speech and Language assessments on site approximately once monthly. Requirements

  • Current SLP License valid in the state of California
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Able to work in the California time zone (PST)
  • Experience supervising SLP Assistant (SLPA)
  • Familiarity with administering virtual assessments
  • Experience with Case Management, IEP Writing, & SEIS
  • Knowledge of California Special Education law & regulations
  • Must have a strong desire to work with a wide array of populations
  • Exercise good judgment in prioritization - complete assigned tasks without supervision
  • Ability to build rapport with staff
  • Excellent written skills and efficient verbal communication at all organizational levels
  • Positive and collaborative demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and therapeutic treatment for speech/language disorders.
  • Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
  • Case Management for students on caseload
  • Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs
  • Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
