We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Virtual Server Administrator. Role Overview: We are looking for a Virtual Server Administrator to efficiently manage and maintain a virtualized Microsoft environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting system audits, performing routine maintenance tasks, coordinating with other teams to resolve incidents, and ensuring adherence to change control standards.

  • Manage and operate a virtualized Microsoft (MS) environment.
  • Perform daily system checks, review and respond to events reflected in various management tools, and perform server patch management.
  • Notify Government representatives of issues involving the performance of the operating environment.
  • Conduct system audit reviews and perform maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
  • Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve incidents or events related to systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Adhere to change control standards and procedures, problem resolution, and troubleshooting techniques, and the use of remote server management tools.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
  • Associates Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
  • CompTIA Security X or CASP
  • 3+ Years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD), clustering, Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
  • VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification is preferred
  • CNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIG, CCSP is preferred
