This is a hybrid position. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Piscataway, NJ (Middlesex County). General Responsibilities: Relationship Bankers deliver an exceptional experience to customers and prospects with a focus on meeting the financial needs of all areas of our community; counsel clients, providing needs-based financial solutions; actively seek opportunities to expand relationships; and are capable of supporting clients in-person or virtually. They are responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and provide support related to the day-to-day branch operational activities and financial services of the Bank. Essential Duties: Performs various duties relating as follows: Successful Completion of One Bank/One Team/One Brand discipline of collaboration and teamwork in order to achieve bank objectives. Well-practiced in policy and procedure in order to protect customer and Bank assets at all times. And keeps up-to-date on banking regulation changes to ensure compliance. Has high level understanding of Bank’s products and services, including its technology. Assists clients with deposit account and ancillary service selections in line with their needs, opening them in a timely manner. Engages and advises customers virtually in order to attract, retain, and grow relationships. Comfortable with proactively reaching out, via phone, chat or video to existing and/or prospective clients to build and establish relationships” Provides exemplary customer service, fielding questions concerning deposit account and loan activity, fees, etc. Uses available resources to research more complicated matters with assistance, ensuring client concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Demonstrates and educates our customer base on our technology products and services. Promptly and effectively refers clients and prospects to the appropriate partner to meet their needs for deposits, loans, cash management, merchant, or wealth management services. Participates in the Saturday rotating schedule. Ancillary Duties: Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
